Does anyone know the maximum length of string variables in workflows? 
@Stefan: There could be technological limitations, for instance by the framework on top of which the server is built, but afaik ONE DATA does not impose any fixed limitations.

@2Peter: Might be that there are limits on the database columns storing the variables 
@1Peter: @2Peter is right, we have limitations on the database side. Currently we have set VARCHAR(1024) for string variables in the database.
