is it possible to set navigation of a HTML element to a certain container or position of a page?

as far as I konw, if you want to “navigate to a different page” and set it to certain location (like ancher point) this will not work.
But if you just want to point (put focus) to a different spot on the same page, this might work with two html elements. One defining the anchor via HTML/CSS the other one targeting the anchor. I am not sure if this works but maybe worth a try if this is what you aim for. Would love to hear about your experience then.
