Datepicker element to fill up datetime cell in a table

Hi,

is it possible to use a datepicker to select a date with a mouse click to fill up a cell in table where the column is of date type = datetime? Since I’ve never really used a datepicker I couldn’t tell. Extra points for an app configuration example of how one could achieve this
